Smt. Sumithra Anand Tanoba born in a remote village of erstwhile Medak District. Her father was a teacher. She spent her childhood in the holistic rural environment, under control of her parents in a systematic and disciplined manner.

She has had her School Education at "Zilla Parishad High School", Pre Degree course, B.A(L) from "Prachya Vidya Parishad, Oriental college, Kamareddy". Pandit Training in Telugu from "Andhra Saraswatha Parishad" and Master of Arts(Telugu) from Osmania University, Hyderabad". She worked at ZPHS(Girls) Lingampet since July,2015.

She Played an active amd major role towards Telangana Writers, which led an eye opening moment, among the backward, down trodden, weaker section, women in the society.

As a teacher, she worked with commitment in the class room as well as in the organization APTF, TTF, TPTF which are meant for Telangana moment. She rallied many women teachers in every moment and worked as state Vice-President for a long time.

She has organized Telangana Language Forum, mostly to protect our accent, which has been refusing and insulting by the Andhra people, compared to their language. She has struggled for the same and contributed her valuable time, became the organizing president from 1990 and led the moment, for the protection of Telangana Language.

She has had participated in Literacy movement, Saara Nishedam/Anti Liquor movement, educated the women community, to stop early child (girls) marriages, in the society.

She has participated in secondary separate Telangana movement, openly while giving encouraging speeches, songs, to motivate the people and participated actively in rallies, Vantavarpu, Sakala janula same, Millennium March etc. till the end of the declaration of the Telangana State and appreciated by the people.

She is fond of reading books, writing telugu poems, singing songs, gardening, time to time updating of Telangana Culture and civilization accordingly.

She was appointed as a member (full time) of Telangana State Public Service Commission wef. 21.05.2021.
